Students are assigned a registration date based on their academic standing at IU Indianapolis. Find out the date and time you'll be allowed to register for classes.

Before you register

Make sure you're ready to register by scheduling a meeting with your academic advisor, completing any prerequisites for courses you want to take, and resolving any holds on your account.

Prepare for registration

Log in to Student Center

Access the Student Center with your university ID handy when you're ready to register.

Search for classes

Use the Class Search in your Student Center to search for the courses you need. Make sure you’re searching the correct term and academic year!

Select your courses View your academic pathway

Add classes to shopping cart

Your Enrollment Shopping Cart is where you’ll add all classes as you “shop” for them. You can access it through your Student Center, or directly from One.IU. Once you’ve loaded all your courses into your cart, you’re ready to check out.

Enroll in your courses

From your Enrollment Shopping Cart, click “Enroll” – and you’ll be registered! If there are any error messages, review and address them.

View your course schedule

Confirm you’ve registered for all your intended classes by viewing your course schedule in your Student center or via One.IU.
